MEOS 2009

John Mills Valves exhibited at the Middle East Oil Show (MEOS 2009) Conference and Exhibition held on 16th – 18th March in Bahrain.

The event was very busy with many visitors to the stand ranging from global distribution partners to oil and gas End Users.  John Mills Valves would like to thank each and everyone who took time out to visit the stand.

The exhibition was a great success for John Mills Valves, and we have since received a number of enquiries.

The highlight of the exhibition was a visit from H.R.H Prince Andrew, the Duke of York.  Along with the UK's Special Representative for International Trade and Investment, Prince Andrew toured the Middle East Oil Show (MEOS 2009) whilst on a two-day visit, aimed to promote trade and strengthen bilateral relations between the UK and Bahrain.

He visited exhibition stands and took the chance to speak to representatives from each of the 16 members of the UK's Energy Industries Council of which “Prince Andrew showed a very keen interest in the involvement of John Mills Valves at MEOS” said Bryan Earl.

The British Embassy political officer Andy Stephenson said "We have brought 50 Britons over for MEOS, which is a fantastic turnout and shows how strong Britain's representation is in the industry and Prince Andrew's presence here will only serve to strengthen already strong ties between the Bahrain and the UK."
